Edit Generic Asset Template

Perform the following steps to edit an existing Generic or Custom template:

1. Go to Genix Platform > Digital App Center > My Apps > APM Model Configuration and Deployment > APM Foundation.

2. Click Template Definition section.

3. Click Generic Template tab.

4. Click button under Action column of the respective template, which you want to edit. Template Details tab is displayed.

   To edit a template, you must be the creator of the respective template.

5. Edit the details as required.

   Refer Create Generic Asset Template section for the details on the various fields in Template Definition section.

6. Click Submit. The changes are saved and the template is submitted for review.

   The status of the Generic asset template will be "Pending for Review" till the Approver approves the Template.

   You cannot edit the system templates if the status is Active, Pending for Review or Pending for Approval
